The story of Hotel Ramon began with Marco Bernard, head of the family: born in 1946 with a sharp entrepreneurial spirit, in 1988 Marco Bernard bought the land in order not to miss the chance to exploit the socio-economic impact that the new Col Rodella cableway – built in 1985 – would bring to Campitello di Fassa. Finally, in 1989, in partnership with local artisans and enterprises, Hotel Ramon was completed. The new building was composed of 21 guestrooms, each provided with private bathroom and balcony (characteristics which were not available in every hotel at the time).
The name “Ramon” derives from the locality situated at the opposite side of the former pension Ramon – now Pizzeria Ramon – on the left of the Avisio river, at the base of Mount “Sas de pere da fech” in Pera di Fassa. In 1990 Marco and Adalgisa – married in 1970 – opened Hotel Ramon offering to vacationers and tourists the traditional Ladin hospitality. Two years later, their oldest daughter, Nadia, started collaborating in the management of the hotel. A few years later, in 1988 Nadia and the second-born took over the management of Rifugio Micheluzzi located in Val Duron, which was owned by the Bernard family.
In 2004 the story of Hotel Ramon continued with a grand extension work: 9 guestrooms and an underground garage were added. Contemporary, some rooms underwent a reformation process (the addition of anallergic floors – parquetry – and fire-resistant materials) due to new regulations.
In 2015, works were undertaken to add a welcoming and functional wellness centre equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath, emotional showers, a large Jacuzzi for 5/6 people and a relaxation area.
A service that projects the mountain structure among the most complete destinations, offering its guests maximum comfort and relaxation.
A year later, the Ramon Hotel installed 2 charging stations for electric vehicles, aligning with the new trends in respect and sustainable mobility and becoming a Tesla Charging Destination.
The history of the Ramon Hotel is constantly evolving thanks to Erwin and his staff.
